This machine consists of a tubular reel, which revolves on a frame. The reel is made from either rolled perforated sheet, to allow water and objects less than a certain size to pass through, or from parallel bars more suited to larger product such as potatoes. The reel revolves on special rollers driven by a geared motor at a set speed. Internal spray bars wash the product as it passes through the reel and drains into a hopper. Hinged access doors allow easy cleaning. The machine is constructed fully from stainless steel.
