The FMA range of Applicators are manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel. They typically utilize an open mesh or link wire conveyor belt for product transport through the applicator, the coating is pumped using low shear pumps to a curtain above the product and a flooded pan below, the system also is fitted with air knife strippers to remove excess coating. The applicators are primarily used to coat items of food with a coating that may range from a frying batter type coating through to flavor enhancement or even thickened coatings such as chocolate, sugar and candy type coatings. FMA can custom manufacture your item to suit your application and needs.
