Rotary centrifugal deskinning

The FMA range of Dry centrifugal deskinners are manufactured from 304 stainless steel materials. These machines are most effective to be fitted after a steam peeling step, these machines will only remove and separate loose peel. The main deskinning drum is driven and supported on four drum carriage rollers. Two of the rollers are direct geared motor-driven. The drum speed is fixed for the deskinning of the specific product. The main deskinning drum geared motors are recommended to be fitted to a soft-start controller for gentle start-up of the main drum. The main auger inside the main drum is fitted with a variable speed controller for controlling the retention time. In the base of the machine is a waste peel collection hopper, this is fitted with an auger that is used to remove the peel waste from the deskinning machine, this is a fixed speed and driven by a separate geared motor. With the use of the centrifugal deskinner the removal & separation of the peel from the product after the steam peeling process is achieved without the use of caustic, bulk water, or rotating brushes, it has very few mechanical moving parts. The operating and maintenance costs are low for this type of machine.
