Belt Blancher

The Belt Blancher subjects the product spread on a conveyor belt to an even quantity of steam for a set period of time to achieve uniform blanching. The product is spread evenly over the stainless steel mesh belt whose drive motor is controlled by a variable speed controller to achieve the best blanching time. Product is subject to a quantity of steam within the enclosed machine. the steam being contained between areas of vapour seal water at each end of the blanching area, The product then passes through cold water before leaving the machine to start the cooling process. This blancher can be used for a variety of vegetables, particularly fragile types. The blancher is of full stainless steel construction, with sealed hinged doors down one side for easy inspection and cleaning. The machine is designed and sized to suit any given application.
