The FMA range drum blanchers are fabricated from 304 stainless steel materials. Specially designed barrel sections with a formed ribbon screw section and perforated screen drum, these outer drum sections are perforated sheet to promote high water flows for an even accurate cooking process. The auger ribbon is fitted to the inside of the drum screen to contain the product and to allow for a controlled product retention time during the cooking process. The cooking medium can be heated from the direct heating or indirect heating method or use heat recovery systems or remote existing heat exchangers. FMA can custom manufacture your item to suit your application and needs.
